Troop 427 had 13 Boys Scouts attend and the Venture Crew 427 had 1 member attend as well. Below is information on their journey.
Touring on the way to the National Jamboree:
- Saturday July 15, 2017 depart at 10:00 PM for Henry Ford Museum (Dearborn, MI).
- Sunday, July 16, 2017 tour Henry Ford Museum.
- Monday, July 17, 2017 depart at 7:30 AM for Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH for 3 hour tour of National Air Force Museum and depart by 5:00 PM to stay overnight in Springfield, OH.
- Tuesday, July 18, 2017 depart 8:00 AM for arrival 1:00 PM for choice of 2.5 hour zip-lining or 2 hour white water rafting.
- Wednesday, July 19, 2017 drive to Summit Bechtal Reserve (60 miles).
- Friday, July 28th, 2017 return from Summit Bechtal Reserve to Weston, WI (about 12 Hours)

National Jamboree & Summer Camp Campership & Scholarship Information

Samoset Council Campership Application (Needs Scoutmaster Signature)Anyone signed up for the National Jamboree 2017 with Samoset Council may request a Samoset Council Campership application for both 2016 and 2017. Form needs to be completed and handed in to the Scout Office. Scouts may request help with both the National Jamboree and Summer Camp 2017, but should submit before the March 1st final payment with signature of the Scoutmaster.
